Mr. Adjei graduated from the School of Business in the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, with first class honours in Business Management. During his four years study period, he received the Dean’s excellent academic award for three consecutive times. With the ambition to become a professor, he enrolled as a Master student in the School of Management and Economics (SME) of UESTC in 2015 and graduated successfully obtaining a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering. With dint of hard work, he had the opportunity to continue with his doctorate degree in Management Science and Engineering. His research orientation is data mining and information management and his research interests include decision making under uncertainty, fuzzy sets, aggregation operators, business intelligence and natural language processing with application in health, e-commerce, finance, tourism etc.

He has published over 12 scientific articles in top international journals like International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Artificial Intelligence Review, etc. On the basis of these great accomplishments, he was awarded the first prize of academic excellence for three consecutive academic years.

Aside his academic prowess, he is a sociable person and always want to impact the society. He has served as President of the International Students’ Tribal Fusion Dance Club where he organized different cultural shows which brought together both international students and the Chinese society in different areas of Sichuan province. He is also a founding member of UESTC & Green Manor International Students’ Club. In view of his active involvement in social activities, he received the third prize excellent performance awards during the 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years. On the basis of his achievements both in academic and social life during the period of his study in UESTC, he was adjudged the 2020 CSC Most Outstanding International Student. With further determination, he hopes to work harder to achieve more successes.
